Four casks, one spirit
Each expression takes the same Tasmanian single malt and lets a different cask tell its story.

1838 Spirits
Crafted in Tasmania
Trees & Rain is the single malt label of 1838 Spirits, founded by Phil Gordon. Distilled in Tasmania from Pale Ale barley and Scottish Brewer's yeast, cut with pure water from Lake St Clair, and matured in hand-selected casks — port, Pedro Ximénez, bourbon and triple wood.
The figure on every bottle is Phil's own artwork.
Long before the distillery, there was the sculpture — a lone figure holding a tree aloft against the weather. It became the name, the label, and the spirit of the whole range.
